The hybrid technology is good and is roughly 40% better than my other corolla which is a 1.8litre. It has been designed for practicality more than the hatch so some basic features like volume buttons on the steering wheel are not there and cruise control but overall I'm happy with the purchase given the fuel savings.

My previous model 2006 Corolla Fielder has been very reliable - as have earlier Toyotas. I’m expecting the same reliability from this hybrid version.

So far it is a very smooth car to drive. It feels safe on the road and has good storage space in the boot. Very economical car which is important in these times of very high fuel prices.
