Fantastic car, very comfortable and power when you need it. Recommend the CLA 45 to anyone looking for something awesome

You only have few times in life to spoil yourself and it can be a CLA45 AMG, make sure to stop and appreciate the awesomeness and affordability AMG offers in this option.

Cons first - sluggish throttle control from a dead stop (notorious issue with these). Really have to relearn how to use the throttle to get the car moving. The centre console looks dated with the phone controls and the MB infotainment is a bit clunky to use. Launch control mode requires a half day course to learn and not sure you would be able to access it fast enough to use it in anger at short notice. Push to start is a factory *option* which is kind of ridiculous at this price point. The good: car is beautiful to drive once its moving, plenty of power once boost hits with the turbo pushing 26psi from factory and it sounds AMAZING. Pops and crackles really draw attention and let you know that this car is designed with performance in mind. Styling is aggressive yet sleek, professional yet rowdy. The 4wd system inspires confidence, even at the outer edges of the tires ability to stick. Power application is distributed well and understeer/oversteer is curtailed without removing the feeling that you're in control unlike other cars which will cut power. Driver & passenger retention is handled with 2 of the nicest looking bucket seats I have ever seen and they are still comfortable for every day driving with full adjustability. Red seat belts are a very nice touch (especially if you have ever priced retrofitting them). Stereo is powerful enough, a sub and amp combo would be a simple addition to top it off. Still enough room for a carseat and a passenger even in a car classed as a coupe with less than 33 cubic feet interior room, ample boot space for the weekend bags.
